NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Ottawa University men's tennis team competed at the KCAC Invite at Bethel College last weekend. Yuki Usuda placed second in the Men "A Draw" in the event.

Usuda defeated Fitzsimmons from Friends University 8-2 in round one. In the quarterfinals, he won 9-7 over Evangel University's Kmekic. Usuda took an 8-3 victory in the semifinals over Orgrizovich from the University of Saint Mary. He fell to Esmanhotto of Evangel University in the finals, 8-2.

Olivier Blanchet fell in his first match of the day, 8-4, to Orgizovich. He rebounded to take an 8-2 victory over Twenter of Bethel College in the consolation bracket. Blanchet was defeated 8-1 by Chavez from Kansas Wesleyan University to end his day with a record of 1-2.
