Ottawa won its fourth straight game, defeating Kansas Wesleyan 45-19 last Friday night at AdventHealth Field. The Braves had 416 yards of offense, 75 rushing and 341 passing. Kansas Wesleyan finished the game with 279 yards of offense, 120 yards rushing and 159 yards passing.

In the win over Kansas Wesleyan, Madysen Carrera rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown. She threw for 270 yards and five touchdowns. Clara Beaudoin had seven receptions. Addison Orsborn, Jazlyn Camacho and Courtney Wille had six receptions apiece. Orsborn finished with 105 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Abby Brown led OU with 12 tackles. Alyssa Gillespie had six tackles and one sack. Jennifer Anthony finished with five tackles and one interception.

Through 12 games this year, the Braves have scored 393 points, an average of 35.7 per game. Opponents have scored 133 points, averaging 12. 1 points per game.

Ottawa's offense is averaging 299.6 yards per game and 6.9 yards per play. The Braves have 3,296 total yards of offense. The OU defense is holding opponents to 198.1 yards per game, an average of 4.4 yards per play.

Madysen Carrera leads the Braves in rushing with 511 yards and 13 touchdowns. She has thrown for 2,179 yards, 215-for-305, and 31 touchdowns. Carrera is completing 70 percent of her passes and a 160.1 passing efficiency, and is averaging 217.9 passing yards per game.

Clara Beaudoin leads the Braves with 51 receptions. She has 418 yards and eight touchdowns. Alyssa Linkous leads OU with 672 receiving yards. She has 44 receptions on the season and leads the team with nine touchdowns. Jazlyn Camacho, in nine games, has 43 receptions for 442 yards and six touchdowns.

Abby Brown leads OU in tackles with 56. She has two sacks, three interceptions, and 12 pass break ups. Hannah Serquina is second on the team with 40 tackles. She has 13 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and four pass break ups. Jennifer Anthony leads the team in interceptions with five. She has 23 tackles, and four pass break ups.
OU won the first meeting this season, 60-0, on Feb. 20 at AdventHealth Field. The Braves finished the game with 253 yards of offense, 171 yards passing and 82 yards rushing. The OU defense held Cottey to 79 yards of offense, 34 yards rushing and 45 yards passing. Madysen Carrera led OU in rushing with 55 yards. She was also 7-for-9 through the air for 94 yards and one touchdown. Sidney Rood went 9-for-11 through the air for 77 yards and four touchdowns.  Jazlyn Camacho led the Braves with four receptions. Alyssa Linkous had 51 receiving yards. Addison Orsborn had one rushing touchdown and two receiving touchdowns. Abby Brown led OU with eight tackles and one sack. Hannah Serquina was right behind her with seven tackles and one sack.

Cottey College is 1-7 on the season and 0-6 in the KCAC. The Comets earned their first win of the season on March 16 at Milligan University. CC fell in its first game against MU, 7-6 but bounced back to take a 26-12 win over the Buffalos.

The Comets are on a two game losing streak with losses to Midland University on April 9, 60-0 and the University of Saint Mary on April 11, 52-0.
