Sioux City, Iowa - The Ottawa women's bowling team came away with a pair of second place finishes as they competed at Mustang Invitational I and II.

On Saturday, the Braves posted a 4,247 pinfall for five team games, giving them a runner-up finish. Jadyn Barr made the All-Tournament Team in third place with a 933 pinfall for five games.

On Sunday, Ottawa's 4,228 pinfall after one team game and 20 baker games put them in second place.

Coach Poston's Thoughts
"It was good to get everyone back in action. These patterns were difficult, and I think our performance (men & women) will let us look back and see the things that need to be tightened up this week so we can put together a couple strong showings in Vegas next week. Shout out to the JV women for picking up some more hardware and winning both JV tournaments."

The Ottawa bowling teams are back in action on December 18-19 at the Glenn Carlson Invitational, the first of back-to-back tournaments in Las Vegas. Both tournaments are at the South Point Bowling Plaza.
