Williamsburg, Ky.- The Ottawa women's lacrosse team dropped their final non-conference game of the season as they lost to (1) Cumberlands (Ky.) by a score of 2-22 on Monday afternoon.
Cumberlands led the whole game, using 7-1 and 6-1 first and second periods to take a 13-2 halftime lead. The Patriots held Ottawa scoreless in the second half with 5-0 and 4-0 third and fourth quarters.
Ashley Santillan scored two goals,
Isabella Pagliei made one assist.
Shelby Bearden made ten saves.
Ottawa (3-7, 0-1 KCAC) returns to the field on Thursday, April 4 as they travel to St. Louis for a game at the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis. That game will begin at 2 PM.
