OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University cheerleading and dance programs are pleased to announce the signing of Lonna Ayers for the 2024-25. Ayers is from Kincaid, Kan. and is a transfer from Allen Community College. She attended Crest High School.

Ayers was a member of the cheer and dance programs at Allen Community College.

At Crest High School, Ayers lettered in volleyball, cheer, dance, basketball, and softball.

Ayers is the daughter of Katie Yoder, Cody Yoder and Janet Kiefer and plans to major in secondary education. She is a gymnastics coach.
