Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa men's lacrosse team was selected to finish tied for eighth in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Coaches' Poll released on Friday, January 31.

William Penn was selected first with 80 points and eight first place votes. Benedictine followed them in second with 74 points. St. Ambrose was third with 61 points, Missouri Baptist was fourth with 49 points, and William Woods rounded out the top five with 46 points.

The Braves open their 2025 season on Thursday, February 27 as they travel to Adrian, Michigan for a game at Siena Heights at 7:00 PM Eastern. Their home opener and inaugural Heart Conference game is on Friday, March 7 against William Penn at AdventHealth Field. Faceoff for that game is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
