Spells also earned KCAC Player of the Week once and was also named to the All-KCAC Honorable Mention Team.
2018: Spells appeared in five games, making four starts in goal for the Braves. He played in 281:58 minutes, had a 1.59 GAA, tallied 10 saves, he finished the year with a 2-1-1 and had one shutout.
2017: Spells appeared in two games for the Braves, one of them in goal. As a goalkeeper, he played in 45 minutes, tallied one save and had a record of 1-0-0.
Marshalltown Community College: Spells lettered in soccer at MCC. He was a two-time Second Team Academic All-Region selection
High School: At Round Rock High School, Spells lettered in football and soccer. He earned UIL Academic All-District on the football field in 2014.
