The Braves swept Southwestern College last Saturday in Winfield, Kan., winning game one, 5-1 and game two, 6-2. Ottawa hit .271, scoring 11 runs, hitting six doubles, driving in eight runs, finishing with a .373 slugging percentage, and a .313 on base percentage.

Falcon pitcher Laila Spracklen went over the 400 career strike out mark in Friends' 7-0 win over Bethel College last Saturday. She now has 408 career strikeouts, just 33 shy of the school record 441 set by Brandi Leeker (2006-09). It was also her first career individual no hitter. Spracklen pitched four innings in a combined no-hitter last year at Dallas Christian but Saturday's game was her first individual no hitter.
