FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The #11 Ottawa University women's wrestling team competed at the Warrior Duals and Warrior Open on Friday and Saturday.
Warrior Duals
Ottawa fell to Campbellsville, 28-13.
Aynsley Fink won over Gabrielle Medeiros on a fall in the 110lb weight class.
Addison Saporito defeated Josie Davis in the 124lb weight class on a tiebreaker decision.
Darby Weidl won on a technical fall over Meghan Webrich in the 160lb weight class.
Ottawa fell to Indiana Tech, 32-12.
Emma Truex won a 4-1 decision over Isabelle Silva in the 131lb weight division.
Livia Swift took down Alexis Kelley on a fall in the 138lb weight division.
Ottawa was defeated by Life, 35-10.
Aynsley Fink won on a fall in the 110lb weight class over Kaci Bice.
Darby Weidl won on a fall in the 160lb weight class over Ugochi Anunobi.
In the final dual, Ottawa came up short to Lindsey Wilson, 26-22.
Aynsley Fink won on a fall over Reagan Thomas in the 110lb.
Emma Truex defeated Trinity Davis on a fall in the 131lb weight division.
Abigail Sebesta won on a fall over Lexi Ritchie in the 160lb and
Hannah Jackson pinned Hayeni Costa in the 207lb.
Warrior Open
Maximus Division
Aynsley Fink won one match by fall in the 110lb weight class.
Addison Saporito secured a win in the 117lb weight class on a fall.
Peyton Hand won three matches in the 124lb weight class.
Emma Truex earned a win in the 131lb weight class on a fall.
Livia Swift won by a fall in the 138lb weight class.
Kaydence Bonewell took home sixth place after winning three matches in the 145lb weight class.
Darby Weidl placed fourth overall in the 160lb weight division by winning three matches as well.
Hannah Jackson earned second place in the 207lb weight class by going 3-1 in her matches.
Kena Leonard placed fourth overall in the 207lb and won three matches.
Pancake Division
Shae Salinas won one match in the 117lb weight class.
Camryn Mather won a match in the 131lb weight class. Lainey Farly and
Madison Rich picked up a win each in the 131lb weight division.
GiGi Jones earned seventh place in the 160lb weight class by winning three matches.
Faith Spicer took home fourth place in the 207lb and she won three matches.
